NOAH Varsity Football Begins 2019

After last years 2018 team, lead by senior quarterback Jared Barnett, finished the year with one of the best seasons ever, compiling a 9 win season and loosing nine seniors, one might think we are in for a tough year of rebuilding. However, with the addition of some great new athletes to the program, including what might be the strongest and most talented group of lineman, this season holds the potential to become a “Cinderella story”! We just returned from team camp up in Kansas and I’ve never been more excited going into a season then I am this year!!

NOAH SOCCER - NATIONAL CHAMPIONS

On Friday, May 10, 2019, the Northeast Oklahoma Association of Homeschool (NOAH) Girls Soccer team, coached by Dean Johnson, won the National Christian Homeschool Championship Girls Soccer Tournament in Springfield, Missouri. Over the course of four games, the team scored 22 goals and conceded none. The NOAH girls team is composed of Tulsa-area high school homeschoolers, the majority of whom play for local competitive clubs at the higher regional levels. Teams from Oklahoma, Texas, Kansas, Missouri, Colorado, and Georgia competed in the tournament. During the final game, NOAH won 2-0 against Coastal Homeschool Athletic Association from Georgia, a team that boasts a record of 21-2.
This is NOAH’s first championship and brings their overall season record to 19-2-2. NOAH captains are goalkeeper Emily Dobbins, forward Sadie Goff, and midfielder Dacie Sanders. Alanna Bloomingdale (Team tournament Offensive MVP), Katie Culberson (Team tournament MVP), and Selah Aberle (Team Tournament Defensive MVP) were named to the All-Tournament team, along with Anna Fulton and Kenzie Macklin.
